Chocolate Cherry Poke Cake
Ingredients
- 1 box Chocolate Cake Mix
- Orange or Vanilla EVOO – use 1/2 amount of oil called for from the cake instructions
- eggs – amount call for in instructions of cake
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 jar LTO Cherry Balsamic Sauce
- 4 TBSP Blood Orange Balsamic
- 1 small Cool Whip
- Decorations which may included colored sugars, candy hearts, cherries or chocolate shavings.
Instructions
- Grease 9×13 pan. Preheat oven to 350. Make cake as directed on box, adding 2 TBSP Blood Orange Balsamic to cake mix
- Bake as directed on box
- Cool 10 minutes
- Poke holes in cake with wood spoon handle
- Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the cake
- Heat Cherry Balsamic Sauce for 15-20 seconds in microwave. Spread over the top of the cake
- Put cool whip in a bowl and fold in 2 TBSP Blood Orange Balsamic. Spread over cake.
- Decorate with sugars, hearts or fresh cherries. Refrigerate
