Baked Bread Cheese on a stick
Ingredients
- 1 package bread cheese (Juustoleipa) about 8-10 oz
- 2-3 TBSP Sweet Cream Butter EVOO*, divided
- Acacia honey for drizzling
- LTO Salt Flakes to taste
- Wooden sticks or skewers
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425. Line baking sheet with parchment
- Cut the bred cheese lengthwise into long, thick strips approximately 1 inch wide. The strips should be substantial enough to stay securely on the sticks.
- Carefully insert a wooden stick lengthwise into each strip of bread
- Arrange the bread cheese sticks on the prepared baking sheet. Generously drizzle or brush with Sweet Cream Butter EVOO turning to lightly coat both sides.
- Bake for 8-12 minutes, turning once, until the bread cheese is hot and softened and the edges are beautifully golden. For additional browning, place under the broiler briefly at the end, watching carefully.
- Transfer the hot bread cheese sticks to a serving platter. Drizzle with additional Sweet Cream Butter EVOO, followed by a generous drizzle of Acacia honey.
- Finish with flaked sea salt and serve immediately while the bread cheese is warm
