Strawberry Vanilla Poke Cake
Ingredients
- 1 Box Strawberry Cake Mix
- Vanilla EVOO – use half of the amount of what oil the cake instructions call for
- eggs – the amount called for in the instructions of the cake
- 1 can Sweetened condensed milk
- 1 jar Strawberry Vanilla Jam
- 4 TBSP Strawberry Balsamic
- 1 small Cook Whip
- Decorations which may include colored sugars, candy hearts, strawberries or chocolate shavings
Instructions
- Grease 9×13 pan. Preheat oven to 350. Make cake as directed on box, adding 2 TBSP Strawberry Balsamic to cake mix
- Bake as directed on box
- Cool for 10 minutes
- Poke holes in cake with wood spoon handle
- Pour sweetened condensed milk over cake
- Heat Strawberry Jam in microwave for 15-20 seconds. Spread over cake
- Put cool whip in a bowl and fold in 2 TBSP Strawberry Balsamic. Spread over cake
- Decorate with sugars, hearts or fresh strawberries. Refrigerate.
